94FM The Fish is partnering with the Nashville Rescue Mission for our annual fundraiser this Wednesday, November 14th. This day will kick off our 94 FM the Fish Season of Giving.
The need at the mission is always great, but when the weather takes a turn for the worst, the homeless are hit the hardest.
The Nashville Rescue Mission is there as a place of shelter, comfort, and Hope for Nashville’s hurting and homeless. We can help by providing meals that could lead to a life change and a family reunited through the Nashville Rescue Mission. A hot meal at the Nashville Rescue Mission is only $2.26. A gift of $50 can feed over 20 people. A gift of $100 can feed over 40 people! The mission is entirely donor supported. They take no money from the gov’t. That’s why your gifts on Wednesday are so important.
From Hunger to Hope will be our theme this year and it provides a great opportunity for families to teach compassion to their children…To help them learn how to meet the needs of others…To discover the joy of sharing and giving.
All gifts to the mission are tax deductible, and as the weather turns cold, your gifts are needed more than ever.
Let’s make it a fun day to team up with co-workers, get our family involved, and work with our church groups to meet the need of the homeless men, women, and children in Nashville – who knows whose life you’ll change.
