Boxers and Bikes

Harley Davidson of Cool Springs is hosting an event for Middle Tennessee Boxer Rescue called Boxers and Bikes, Meet and Greet. The event will be held Saturday June 22nd from 10am-2pm. We will have some of Middle TN adoptable boxers there at the event along with live music.

Islam and reaching Muslims in our community

Come and listen to featured guest speakers Dr. Raouf Ghatta and his wife Carol co-authors of A Christian Guide to the Qur'an: Building Bridges in Muslim Evangelism, talk and answer questions about Islam and reaching out to Muslims in our communities and around the world. Carol Ghatta also wrote Lust Under The Veil, Things I never Told My Mother, and Two Sides of A Coin: An Egyptian Story. They will be sharing their wisdom gleaned from serving in over 30 different churches and currently pastoring the Evangelical Arabic church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Tickets are $5 and music entertainment will be provided by Rick Gracia. All proceeds will go to help support Brianna Thomas who is going on an 11 month, 11 country mission trip on the World Race through Adventures in Missions in January 2014.

WomenHeart of Williamson County Heart Disease Support Group

Heart Disease is the number one killer of women. WomenHeart and Brentwood Baptist Church want to change that! This support group is a safe environment where women living with, or at risk of, heart disease can come together, share their heart stories, receive valuable information on heart disease, but most of all realize that they are not alone. The support group meets the last Tuesday of every month and there is no cost.

100 Kings Car Wash Fundraiser

Inner city children have learned about entrepreneurship and financial literacy and now are launching their own car wash business! Come get your car washed and shape this community for the better! All kids from K-6th grade are invited to Colossal Coaster World JULY 14-19 Through every twist, turn, and dive, Colossal Coaster World will challenge kids to face their fears and trust God. There’s excitement around every curve as kids learn that God has given them a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment. This evangelistic VBS is the ultimate ride. At the end of the week, kids will want to do it all over again! The ‘park’ will open at 6:00 each night with a Family Night on the last night. Family night is a time for the entire family to come in and see everything the kids have learned during the week.

Book Study

June 23 will be the start of a new class on Sunday Evenings at Central Christian Church. It will be led by the pastor, Steve Odom. The book to be read and discussed together is "Hidden Gospels: How the Search for Jesus Lost Its Way,"by Philip Jenkins, Professor at Penn State. Jenkins is the author of Jesus Wars: How Four Patriarchs, Three Queens, and Two Emperors Decided What Christians Would Believe for the Next 1,500 Years, The Lost History of Christianity: The Thousand-Year Golden Age of the Church in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia — and How It Died, and The New Faces of Christianity: Believing the Bible in the Global South, and is well known for his clear, concise examinations of sometimes complicated subjects. 4th Annual Madison Train Show

VBS is one of our outreach ministries. We have VBS every night July 7 - 12. Our VBS is all inclusive to include everyone from nursery to adult. Nursery is available for the adults attending the event. We have music, food, fun, and of course learning. This year's theme is Colossal Coaster World and we do have some added fun. Friday night is always family night. It is a can't miss event designed for the whole family.
